Stepfamilies are born of loss. Stepfamilies typically begin as a result of death or divorce. The process of recoupling, step-parenting, and the many crisis that are a part of life can be overwhelming. We are here to provide resources for families navigating these transitions.

Today over 19.4 million adults in the United States have experienced divorce. This is 9.8% of the total population.* According to the 2002 census bureau, over one million new divorces were registered in 2002. Stepfamilies are a reality that we must face. We are continually updating this site to provide resources for stepfamilies. Check back periodically for start dates for new groups, resources, and new services.
